In other news... I've discovered a major new time-wasting activity. It's called World of Warcraft, a MMRPG (which stands for Massive Multiplayer Role-Playing Game) based on the succesfull Warcraft PC strategy games. WoW (as it is known) is an online computer game, with rich graphics, in which you play a single character at a time. Many hundreds of other people do so as well, and you can play together (against the environment and the monsters) or against other players. It looks gorgeous ('though to get the most out of it, I might have to get a new computer...), and it is totally addictive (I've been spending way too much time on it since I installed it late Friday night). More later. 1:52:53 AM     The Long Silence... It has been quite some time since my previous post (more than three months, actually). Not that I've been doing nothing on the 'web. I've spent quite some time on the re-design (and reworking of the content, and translating / adding text in Dutch) of  the website of the Shire of Polderslot. The Shire of Polderslot is part of the worldwide SCA, or Society for Creative Anachronism, a Medieval and Renaissance interest and re-enactment group. The site is run by a "lightweight" PHP Content Management system: CMSimple, a Danish product. The styling is all done by CSS ('though some of it could possibly be implemented a little neater). But in all, I am pretty satisfied. 1:31:01 AM
